Our team was subsequently forced to fly (mostly) solo.&nbsp; It reminded us of something simple but powerful: <em>strong systems create stability \u2014 and flexible systems keep it<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we started RainTree, our goal was to empower clients to step into their leadership and elevate their businesses. From the beginning, we knew that creating real impact would mean growing a strong, aligned team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We focused on creating structures that empower our coaching team to bring their unique strengths forward, while upholding RainTree\u2019s high standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quality has always been non-negotiable \u2014 coaching that doesn\u2019t drive performance and business results was never an option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over this past month, Leoni and I were grateful for the systems, insights, and people that helped us steady the ship and continue showing up for our clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s what we\u2019ve learned (again) about how to reset and redirect when things get sticky!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When Systems Get Sticky: 3 Steps to Reset and Redirect!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Pause When It\u2019s Not Flowing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At RainTree, we say: <em>\u201cIf it\u2019s sticky, stop and find a different way.\u201d<\/em> &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last week, I experienced this with a client as well.&nbsp;She\u2019s preparing for maternity leave, supported by a team she values deeply \u2014 but the handover process has stalled. In coaching, rather than push through the resistance, she paused to explore it. That\u2019s when she realised: the original plan needed to shift!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether you\u2019re leading a team or handing over work before a period of leave, resistance is often a signal \u2014 not a failure. Stopping to reflect can reveal the real issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Check What\u2019s Changed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Systems that worked six months ago might not fit now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Question and explore:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 Has the environment shifted?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 Have your team\u2019s needs evolved?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I supported our client to unpack her stalled handover plan in preparation for maternity leave. She soon realized that her original structure no longer supported the business\u2019s new demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A deeper understanding and insight followed quickly \u2014 and so did a better approach!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Stay Open to the Small Shift<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Change doesn\u2019t have to be big to be effective. In our case, tweaks to how our team operated gave them the autonomy to fly solo while we navigated personal challenges. A small intentional shift can unlock flow, resilience, and results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In our continued experience, Leoni and I have come to respect a few key truths:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;\u2014 <strong>Strong systems create stability<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 especially in fast-growing businesses facing &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; unexpected complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2014 <strong>Stickiness is a signal<\/strong>, not a failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2014 <strong>Environments shift and evolve <\/strong>\u2014 systems need to, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2014 <strong>Change is hard but even small changes <\/strong>can unlock big flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When life gets sticky, don\u2019t push harder. Pause. Rethink.
