Would Falling Back In Love With Your Business Change How You Lead?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Happy Valentine\u2019s Day.\u00a0 To honour this day of love, I&#8217;d like to share some insights about how loving your job can positively impact your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A common challenge our clients face is a loss of love and passion for what they do.\u00a0 Their job or business has become a grind.\u00a0 It is heavy, exhausting and something that makes them despondent.\u00a0 The coaching question we ask is \u201chow would you be if you fell in love with your job or business again?\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Love triggers physiological changes in our bodies.\u00a0 Our cortisol levels stabilise (after the initial stresses of falling in love).\u00a0 Our oxytocin and dopamine levels lift.\u00a0 These chemical changes help us to reduce stress and anxiety.\u00a0 They support us to feel happy and more trusting of others and ourselves.\u00a0 Loving what we do allows us to feel calm and secure.\u00a0 When we love what we do, we are more optimistic and able to solve problems.\u00a0 We love the job or business and are more open to ideas and solutions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We wish for you, this Valentine\u2019s Day, to fall back in love with what you do.\u00a0 Start by remembering what it was that drew you to your current business or job.\u00a0 Look for the elements of the job that you love and spend some time on those.\u00a0 Connect with the people that you love to work with.\u00a0 Make a conscious effort to rekindle the passion and love for where you spend at least 8 hours a day.\u00a0 Make it fun again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
